Our Story
The Sleeping Swallow began with a simple belief: the things we surround our children with should be beautiful, meaningful, and made to last.
In a world filled with disposable products, we wanted to create something different—something that could become part of a family's story. A blanket draped over a nursery chair. A favorite companion during quiet afternoon naps. A cherished keepsake tucked away and rediscovered years later.
That vision led us to woven blankets.
Unlike printed blankets that fade with time, our designs are woven directly into the fabric using traditional Jacquard weaving. Crafted from 100% cotton yarn and finished with classic fringe, each blanket is designed to feel substantial, timeless, and worthy of being passed from one generation to the next.
At The Sleeping Swallow, we believe that the most treasured possessions are not always the most expensive. They are the ones woven into our memories—the blanket carried through childhood, the gift given to celebrate a new life, the piece that quietly remains long after the moment has passed.
